True Katydids (Pterophylla camellifolia) en copula. These appeared in rural Wimberley, Hays County, Texas hanging off a roll of old concrete reinforcing iron we use to keep the deer from devouring all our plants. Captured with a Canon 1D Mark IV and a 24-105 mm IS lens at 105 mm with a 580EX II flash. Manual settings: f/8, 1/40s, ISO 400. 07-09-10
